Meet the Author: Sexually Transmitted Diseases: A Practical Guide for Primary Care Jo Ann Woodward, RNC, BSN, NP Planned Parenthood of Arizona Ms. Woodward, a highly regarded member of the WHF faculty, will discuss portions of this collaborative work which was first published in June 2007. Written by clinicians, many of whom have been diagnosing, treating, and counseling patents since the days of venereal disease, this book is packed with current, evidence-based information that provides the clinician with the ability to identify and manage sexually transmitted infections as well as obtain information about preventing their sequelae. Following her presentation, Ms. Woodward will be available to sign copies of Sexually Transmitted Diseases: A Practical Guide for Primary Care.
