The American Medical Women's Association and Women's Healthcare Forum Announce Partnership to Expand Educational Conferences

NEW YORK, NY, and ALEXANDRIA, VA; October 3, 2007
The American Medical Women's Association (AMWA), the oldest national medical association dedicated to advancing women in medicine and improving women's health, and Women's Healthcare Forum (WHF), the leading medical education company dedicated to improving healthcare outcomes for women, today announced an educational conference partnership designed to benefit both organizations by better serving their member, participant and supporter communities. Central to the partnership will be the joint AMWA Annual Meeting and WHF CME Conference and Exhibition held on March 7-8, 2008 at the Anaheim Convention Center.

"Our members will benefit from WHF's highly acclaimed CME program on comprehensive and integrative healthcare for women," said Diana Galindo, MD, President of AMWA. "Our partnership with WHF furthers our member and supporter goals by offering a more extensive educational and exhibition program. We are especially pleased that WHF's 2008 CME program will address many topics related to our annual meeting theme: Women and Aging."

"We are thrilled to be collaborating with AMWA which will help us better serve the large com-munity of healthcare providers who share our dedication to improving outcomes for women," said David Near, CEO, Women's Healthcare Forum. "This partnership with AMWA represents a great opportunity to further our mission, improve our educational conference programs, and expand the community of educators, providers, supporters and exhibitors we serve."

The partnership offers a range of benefits to the healthcare providers, supporters and exhibitors who will gather at the 2008 joint Anaheim conference and to those who will participate in the WHF conferences in Houston, TX (April 4-5), Philadelphia, PA (May 30-31), and Chicago, IL (June 27-28).
