The American Medical Women's Association and Women's Healthcare Forum Announce Partnership to Expand Educational Conferences
NEW YORK, NY, and ALEXANDRIA, VA; October 3, 2007 —
The American Medical Women's Association (AMWA), the oldest national medical association dedicated to advancing women in medicine and improving women's health, and Women's Healthcare Forum (WHF), the leading medical education company dedicated to improving healthcare outcomes for women, today announced an educational conference partnership designed to benefit both organizations by better serving their member, participant and supporter communities. Central to the partnership will be the joint AMWA Annual Meeting and WHF CME Conference and Exhibition held on March 7-8, 2008 at the Anaheim Convention Center.

- Registration for the Anaheim conference will offer healthcare providers access to one full day of AMWA Annual Meeting workshops and 24 WHF CME sessions as well as Exhibition Program presentations, networking activities and AMWA's annual awards banquet.
- AMWA members and past WHF conference participants may register for $75, a 50% discount from the standard WHF registration fee. AMWA student members will be able to register for $35.
- Supporters and exhibitors will be able to more efficiently and effectively support healthcare education and reach a large community of healthcare providers serving women, the predominant healthcare consumers and decision makers.
- WHF and AMWA will be able to reach more healthcare providers with educational and advocacy programs designed to help them improve their practice and patient outcomes.
